Thanks for the reply I will try the dry incubate next round. so far 5 live 3 dead and when I got ready to toss all the other eggs one is trying to hatch and peeped so I will give it till tonight. I don't expect it to make it but I don't wanna toss a hatching egg in the trash. Last hatch I had less water so I know that was it. They are at week 4 and doubled in size in a week so today I left the cage open to let them go out to meet the other chickens.
Problems with Ebay eggs sounds familiar, I got some off Ebay and they were stuck in a sort facility for 3 days = low hatch . Lady was sorry even though it was not her fault and shipped a batch free that the post office kicked and beat for the fragile = kick me sign. she had them bubble wrapped in packing peanuts in two boxes and one egg was cracked when I got it, none hatched. I see she no longer sells eggs and I can't blame her. I sold a tractor for repair or parts and never saw a dime, just excuses and a canI re tact the bid note. Somebody from the same town sent me a message trying to low ball me on it. I said NO and do say hello to your jack wagon inbred brother. But I still use Ebay and even got my wife an SUV for $4000 under book so go figure. Good luck to all having hatches today
My off topic share for the day (feeling the need to vent a bit): You may remember the drama I was having with the breaks going out on my hybrid a few weeks back? Well it was covered under manufacturers warrantee and I picked it up last week. The part was replaced, but Ford has not resolved the issue with the part, so a new version of the same part that is known to go out even on brand new cars is in my car. It works fine, but we decided that it is best not to tempt fate, and have been shopping to trade it in. So now to the point:
Last night, my stepdaughter took my car (with permission), to get pizza for her and Kaia, my two year old. She was rear ended at a stop light by a girl who was in her friends car and texting. So, now my car needs to go back to the shop to have its rear bumper fixed and the frame is bent. I am just not having good luck on the car front. Now it is going to show up as having been in an accident for trade in and I am going to be out a car until it gets fixed. Yargh.

We are going to lay down pallets and cover with either PT Playwood or PT lumber and paint with oil based paint and scatter the grip grit they use on garage floors or sand for grip.
you can do the same thing with landscape timbers and boards across as a "boardwalk" type walkway. Easy to clean and replace boards that become worn or broken over time
