So I have finally (I think) identified two of the mystery chicks I got from CPL and BM6...I think they might be silver duckwing OEGB pullets! I thought they were seramas...but they don't have that exaggerated tailset. What other differences could I use to confirm this hypothesis? anyone know?

my guess would they are bb red old english game, she had a lot of my eggs about that time

Yay! My first-ever real egg swap is posted! My cuckoo marans have been laying like crazy -- every egg I've cracked so far has been fertile but I jut popped three in the 'bator today to test development, all the same The first half-dozen go to filumene for the NYD trivia game prize, the next 8 are currently on the swap thread looking for a home!

Chickenbelle sometimes turkeys will have this happen due to the heavy membrane. I've only had it happen once. I did splint the legs and put him in a cup, but he didn't make it. I hope you have better luck than I.
