Not totally true at all. I'm done bidding on GFF auctions for a long while. I have enough chicks to grow out with more coming from a hatchery soon.

lol, you've said that a few times now.

Actually mean it this time. It's almost summer and I would love to get all these chicks out of the house. I have quite a few to grow out and move around to their permanent pens. Besides I never heard back from Jenny on what she sent me. I have unknown chicks and I don't like that.

I hate that, too. I want to know what I'm growing out.

So the final insult on the RBA auction - the seller gave me two choices, either pay more to get the birds that I'd already won, or she'd send me two dozen eggs as an apology. I opted for the eggs. After telling her I had just set over two dozen eggs, she sent the eggs without verifying if I had room, she sent them to the wrong address, and she didn't have them held at the PO for pickup.

I'm on day 10 I don't see any progress in my eggs. I'm so sad :(

Unless you have a really good flashlight wait until day 14, but I can tell you over handling turkey eggs can be bad for them. I use a mini pro plus LED with the highest illumens. I thinke it's around 250 or so if memory serves. We can see clear across our property with it. Love to shine the high schoolers out of their beer drinking spot in our grove. I have no issues candling even Marans or olive eggers. I know some people say it will blind chicks.....yadda yadda, but I've never had a blind one. I can clearly see development from early on. However candling is a learning experiment. As in you learn as you go, so don't give up hope.

WOW! Just Wow! did RBA do anything about it? Are they still offering on RBA?

x2 on you woudnt have tobe a lurker. I refuse to bid on GFF auctions at all on RBA, and I am only focused on 2 breeds currently anyways.
I'd love to add one more breed but I have to convince DH on another pen. And I need to watch how the barthuhners do this summer. Some of the juvies were panting yesterday in high 80s temp.
