OH, WHAT PRETTIES!!!!!

I got some new stuff cooking for you LOL when they get ready I will be in contact
Sounds great. I will be up moving my son out of his apartment this month and need to go get some more Coros from Keith. All of mine were killed by dogs while I was at Mayo. I lost 14 birds during that week including 5 of my 9 Blue Birchen Marans from crfarms and all my RIR from Jim Heinz. I'm still not happy with that. The only two swaps I have had excellent hatches from gone. Oh, well those are the breaks of raising animals or farming. Have to learn to live and let live.

John,
By any chance to you want some of the Arkansas Blues? They are laying like crazy right now. Let me know.

I have baby tolbunts too -- five of them peeking out at me this morning!!! Of course, they won't be much help for a long time yet, but someday they will be, with any luck :) Yes, CPL did send me home with a bunch of eggs last time I was over there and they're now in the process of hatching.

Please understand if I'm a little quiet on the subject -- she's someone I consider a friend (although I'll be danged if I can get a response out of her recently either!) and she's been very good to me. I've been in a position to go over there and help, which sure made it easier for her to get me eggs. At the same time, I see what's going on and share people's upset. I don't know what else to say

no doubt I was just curious if she knew what was going on as they were partnered up at one time I think .
As far as I know, she was the grow out space, so she does not have a lot of control over the eggs or chicks, and she is hours away so she is not going to be around every day checking. I could be wrong however.

Speaking of it, how long do jubilees take to start to lay? mine were born in feburary, not sure when I need to get serious about pens and a roo. They are very big but look like they have a lot of growing to do....

Some day I will have bunnies :) Adding anything more to my plate right now would be a serious mistake, though. Will you post pictures so we can enjoy them vicariously?
