I think my problem is everything I have going on...moving, going in debt on two houses back to back, hubbys Mom being here, going in debt on two houses back to back, building temporary pens, going in debt on two houses back to back, moving birds and inkies....maybe I am stressed

I feel your pain! Of course my hubby wanted us to sell our old home and live in the camper while we built our house at the farm. We ended up renting an apt in town because our house sold super fast. The camper is now the turkeys winter coop. No way would hubby still be alive if he made me live in that old camper. Not with his piggy ways!
sorry to hear you are in constant pain. I was up last night because of pain, too....and it makes you feel like you are the only person on the face of the earth. Hugs.
Back at ya!
University of Arkansas is now carrying the silver greys. I have a few growing out right now. I need to get more eggs to get a larger flock. I've got one 14 week of red Dorking cockerel with more eggs in the incubator as we speak.
You know those reds are georgeous! I think I might want some for ME.
lol...I can't live somewhere I couldn't have my animals! We will have both mortgages to pay until we get out of this house totally, and get it rented...hopefully by someone who will pay the rent!!! and there is an older home next door that belongs to us, we just need to do a little remodeling, and then rent that one too. So it won't be too bad for too long, just the initial thought of it all is quite overwhelming at times. And the fact that hubby is only home about 10 days out of the month, so most everything falls on me.

lol
My hubby just informed me he's taking a job in ND! He'll be home every two weeks for supposedly a weekend. It's an 11 1/2 hour drive one way. He has to head back with the crew on Sun mornings. Um what's the point of coming home for the weekend? Oh well at least he has a job again.
lol...my last post got me thinking about "Finding Nemo" and those silly seagulls. Mine?

Kiddos does that! When he sees something he really wants he starts doing the pelican.
national geographic has on a show called Morphed today is Dinosaur to Turkey
You know we've often remarked how the film dinosaurs resemble turkey movements. Curious.

Good Morning, Happy Chicken People! (And grumpy people, too!)

Got hubby off to his plane at 5:00. Got chickens, turkey, calves and rabbits fed and watered, then made a big shopping run at WalMart to send DS back to college with food. Also loaded him a cooler with homegrown chicken and lamb, plus venison. And four dozen eggs. Just got to sit down at 10:00. Now I can plan my day!

Someone on the NC forum was asking about waterers, and I've already shared this with Krafty, but this is how we did our autowaterers. Pickle drum and splitters, with automatic dog water bowls. The far side was getting wormed, so I needed to control their water. Anyway, this could be set up for multiple breeding pens, of course.

Western ND? Oilfields? Does he have good place to stay out there, since I've heard it has become beyond expensive to stay. Lots of people in the area are doing what you DH is doing because it is a job and usually decent money. But its only about 9 1/2 hours from here. Good luck to both of you!

No not oil fields. Road construction. They have trailers for the guys to stay in. He was doing over the road, but since the would leave him sitting around he wasn't making any money. 200 a week doesn't pay the bills, so he got a job dump truck driving. The truck was really old and lost its turbos on the second day. With the truck down they didn't need him, so he's been out of a job for a week. He took the first job offered.
