I think you are saying that you want to give SwapperX your unused swaps for a particular week, let's say 5. Then SwapperX would be able to make 12 swaps that week, and you would only make 2, correct? Being as I am the one who is tracking # of swaps and times, I can see that could get ugly fast. We have 74 swappers who have participated so far, and we add new ones almost every day. Trying to figure out who has how many swaps as they are all different could be a nightmare. I don't have THAT much downtime at night.

As BHep and crazypetlady said, you can claim something and have it sent to SwapperX, but then your items would be up for grabs. You could put SwapperX's items in your offer, as long as you make it very clear that is where they are coming from. But I would think you would still be responsible to make sure the swap was completed.

an example I claimed for babymakes6 the other day. She offered paypal. If she had changed her mind for any reason then I would have been responsible for the swap. Doing this is fine just remember the person claiming is responsible for the swap to be completed. As for transferring your unused swaps to someone else I think that would cause too much paperwork and hassle.

I have to say I claimed a swap on the old thread from 202roosterlane for 8 buff orp eggs, she sent me 13 (awesome surprise) and they were HUGE and packed/shipped perfectly. All of the eggs are growing and are beautiful! I haven't seen her on this thread but I hope she makes it over this way! My last round of shipped eggs out of 30 only 5 hatched (not from a swap) so these buff eggs are mighty impressive.

Haha, I actually just came across a BYC'er who built their own coop and it's not far off from that. It came complete with interior & exterior light fixtures, top quality siding with insulation, matching hardware on all of the doors, windows, hatches, etc. and a little balcony with a railing, among other amenities. Everything was color coordinated and they even put in a stone patio surrounding the outside complete with landscaping. It was gorgeous but definitely not the thrifty way to do things
