Good morning all! I see our little hurricane friend is upping her game. Since work didn't close I decided to stay home anyway. Woke up to nasty steady rain and wind. Not too bad yet. My darling little silkie is up and running with the pack. Checked her toes as well and she's walking normal now. Thanks of the teacup tip!

I missed it, what was wrong with the toes? I have four little D'Uccles in medical tape shoes because they wouldn't flatten out their feet to walk...should I have tried the cup?

The teacup helps build leg strength. My little one's legs were splayed out in front of it. Putting it into a teacup helps build leg strength. And I know silkies can have toe issues so I checked those just to make sure.

Yes that's exactly what it was! As soon as I put the shoes on they started running around. So cute!!

KYT only keeps track of this week's swaps... she said she's trying to fix the spreadsheet that she uses to be able to keep track of the first 7 for 'newbies', but for now, you have to keep track of your first 7 swaps... that's my understanding,anyway, unless she fixed the spreadsheet already, but I don't think so...

Lol thx for clarifying! I kinda thought it would be hard but was still trying to figure it out lol. So when my Paul smith ameraucanas start laying and my bo garret pair I can swap again! Whoop hoo!!!! I'm jealous watching all of u swap!

I had 6 of those quail hatch early overnight, I still have electric but probly not much longer,,,,,,just a thought to run past everyone, I have a few broody silkies, If I bring 1 inside will she take care of quail ???

I would give it a try. It's worth seeing if she will.
