I'm also interested how you make money at it... Right now, I'm probably $1,000 in the hole from the year since I've bought a cabinet incubator and bought so many eggs...

I've stopped buying eggs. Swapping is so much more fun and I find I still get what I'm looking for. My girls make enough to buy their feed. I'm hoping to hatch some chicks for the different poultry shows next year and make a bit more money.
