Awww, no fair...I voted and I didn't get a sticker. I guess it should be expected since I had a heck of a time even voting. The people running my polling location were all sitting down to eat their McDonald's breakfast when I arrived this morning. They just ignored me for a few minutes and continued eating and talking on cell phones. Really sad. I had to interrupt them and received a nasty look for doing so. Boo.

Advantages to living in a small town (180 population):
I get a frail 90+ year old man escorting me to the one automated voting screen and three blue haired old ladies with thick glasses verifying my driver's license and asking how my kids are doing.

I noticed some people have commented on what they will do if something happens to their birds when offering spring eggs. Guess I need to write that into my offers as while. Til then I will put it here. I guarantee you will get eggs. If something happens to my birds I will buy eggs from someone else and have them shipped straight to you. But that won't be a problem since I cant seem to turn off my bator or stop hitting the place bid button. lol

It is driving me crazy watching all of these eggs that I really, really want being offered. We will be on vacation the first part of December so I can't have any brooder babies until after that. I shut my incubators off a while back because of this and my hens are getting a break from the amorous boys. My last set of wee ones are being released to the wilds today. The WILDS being their first grow-out pen I have been very, very good sitting on my hands and not yelling while also typing MINE so you all can hear me. I told Rachael this swap thread would get me in trouble

Soooo, besides Kytinpusher's offer, which I obviously missed , is anyone else going to be offering eggs that can be shipped for setting on 12/10? I would like to get some for-me goodies for the NYH, but I don't want to claim any swaps unless I know they can be shipped on 12/6 or 12/7?

Oh, and is it wrong that while I am looking forward to getting out of Dodge for a week with the beloved hubster, I am really excited about getting back in the swapping game full-swing when we return?
