Beautiful birds. I'm sure you will find someone on here wanting some.So I have devised a plan with DH to isolate the Barnevelders from Spike(Dorking) and the rest of the flock. The girls are much younger than the rest and haven't incorporated anyway and Xander (barnevelder) is definitely the non-Dominant roo. It will be months before they start laying, but I even have a nesting box for them as the dorking prefer to ground-lay so I just built nests for them out of haybales in the coop and they are happy as clams.
So at least for this year I have a plan.
is anyone interested in SG dorking eggs or should I just stick with the paypal (it is easy!...poof and it is done!)
For sure!!Beautiful birds. I'm sure you will find someone on here wanting some.
Picked up my incubator today. It is still in the truck so I couldn't take an actual picture. There is something not quite "right" with the way the "what ever it is" in the upper Right Corner (inside) so if anyone could tell me what this part is called, I will just order a new part. I looked on Dickey's incubator site and they have replacement parts, but I need to know what it is called. Any help for the incubator challenged would be appreciated.....
