I see ads pertaining to "hatching eggs" for sale. We have 3 hens and 2 gobblers and the hens are laying like crazy. Our incubator is full and we still have more coming. Do people actually ship the fertile eggs or is it best to just sell them as day old poults once they hatch?

Hi! People do either (and both!). There is a lot of info out there (Learning Center of BYC, Google search, Etc.) on how to ship eggs. Craigslist is also an avenue you can use to sell hatching eggs and the chicks after they hatch.

Best of luck!

We still have a couple feet of snow on the ground and no sign of eggs yet. Last year was a very late spring for us, too, and I didn't get any eggs until March 25. It's tough to get them big enough if they lay that late. I'm definitely jealous of egg layers right now. :/

I don't know where you have been hiding. Join us in the Pennsylvania Unite thread. You won't have to ship your eggs. We are all hatchaholics, and if you live near Lancaster, you have a million people nearby that may want your eggs.
What kind of turkeys do you have?

I live in Shippensburg, PA which is not far from Lancaster. We have Narragansets. We have 3 Narraganset hens, 2 gobblers and 1 Royal Palm hen.

We currently have eggs in the incubator which will go on lock down April 4. The last batch incubated we only got one live turkey, so he/she is all alone at this point in time.

Thanks for the info.
