Hatching Emergency

Ducks take much longer to hatch than chickens. Sometimes even up to 40-48 hours, where 24 is more common for chickens. Don’t rush the assist. Just make sure the bill and nostrils are clear and let it rest and finish absorbing the yolk.
 
If you're still extremely worried, you can remove just the head from the shell so it can breathe and continue the process on it's own. How is it doing now?
 
@WVduckchick The piece that is still attached should dry up and fall off. Have you tried to give it a little water? It doesn’t have to have any yet though but if you have nutri drench you could dribble a little along the bill it can really help the ones that had a hard time hatching
