The duckling looks a lot healthier now!! No worries about the scab that’ll be gone soon on it’s own. Congrats, you’re almost out of the water with this little hatchling!!!!! Good luck and keep pushing

You could try to offer it a very tiny amount of water in a dropper (just a couple of drops) right on the bill to help perk it up a little. Nutri-drench will help if it is a premie.

I don’t hav drench but if I hatch again I might invest in some.. thoughts on feeding barastoc chick starter to him..

He really just needs something with 20% protein for the first 10 weeks. After that it can be reduced to 15%! Congrats!

I was given eggs that had been under a chicken (for unknown amount of time) so it’s a bit of a questamation as to when they’ll hatch
Not even real sure as to what breed he is
