Hatching for Valentine's Day???

I'm not sure what happened either. Its yolk didn't look totally absorbed, so maybe it hatched before it was totally ready? Still no pips from the other 9 eggs.

I did get my humidity up finally, I popped open the corner for a split second and tossed in a second wet sponge. Its staying between 65 and 70% now.
 
I am hatching Khaki Campbell ducks right now...

For Valentines, I am hoping that the RIR and Leghorns that I have in there hatch, It will be my first hatch of shipped eggs.
 
I'm on day 18 right now.

No peeps, No pips, I think I see movement but I'm afraid my eyes are playing tricks on me ( or wishful thinking) Waiting... and waiting... eat some chocolate... and waiting...

Sorry to hear about your silkie sunangel. I am no expert but humidity in the 70s in my opinion sounds too high. I read soo many conflicting theories on humidity its hard to know what to do. Ive been keeping mine in the 40s for day 1-18 and now with 2 hygrometers in there 1 reads 50 and the other reads 57. Seems to work for me cuz I've never had a membrane stick to a chick. Just my .02

The Silkie hatched while my humidity was only around 50%. Then I upped it some. Right now its at 65%. I still have no other pips, so either my hatch is failing or the rest are waiting til day 21....which is tomorrow. I hate the waiting!!
