hatching geese eggs

2 of the 3 internally pipped embdens are now externally pipped. #3 hasn't pipped yet but when I candle I can see none of the air cell so I imagine it will be soon.

I've also got 3 or 4 (I can't remember...I'm so bad

) sebastopol eggs that were set on the 8th [the embdens were set the 4th (3 eggs) and the 5th (1 egg)] 1 of these was actively pushing on the membrane so looks like they will be right behind the embdens

Eek! My lone goose egg has pipped internally as of tonight. Not long now! I guess I should start doing something about a brooder!

I checked the goose's nest while on my way down to the road to get my son off the bus. I have 1 confirmed female in my flock of 6 (1 toulouse gander, 1 embden goose, 3 embden ganders, and 1 that's supposed to be a goose but hasn't laid yet). This female has been laying, at most, once every three days. Usually I get 2 eggs a week if I'm lucky. I assumed she was young when I got her last fall but apparently not?

Anyway, I checked the nest last week to see how many eggs were in the nest. I'm almost positive I checked the nest on Thursday. There were 3 eggs in the nest when I checked, and today there are 6

So I'm thinking my unconfirmed female is most likely a female
