yeah not sure on that it seems to make more sense because you have a fan you dont have too. but who knows. i m not misting. i dont mist any duck eggs either.

the funny part in i use to be real good about keeping on my schdule 6am 2 pm 9pm but it just keeps getting worse and worse and my hatches are gettting better and better

Yeah its funny how things work out. A friend on Facebook hatches a bator fiull of chicken eggs once a year. she put on a photo of the 1st egg to hatch and you could see her eggs still in the turner pointy end UP...When I asked her about it she said she didnt know they were ment to be pointy end down, she just stuck them in and hoped for the best, she didnt check humidity or temp, no nothing, just put them in and crossed her fingers. She hatched 48 out of 60.....go figure. Here is us lot on here worrying about turning and at what ever times, waking up int he middle of the night coz you forgot to do it before bed, spraying, temps, himidity and she just puts them in and crosses her fngers!!!!!!

No removing from incubator to cool and no spraying with water... and this is because you are using a fan inside your incubator? If so I should be in like Flynn, I have 2 fans in my incubator... lol

How many goose hatches have you done this way? Just curious???

Glad to hear that, I wasn't looking forward to that part! I'm only on day 2, this is going to take forever, isn't it! I realised today that I have 5 eggs due on 5/5. That's surely got to be some kind of good luck charm!

This thread has been pen since 24th March and apart from us newbees who are doing geese for the 1st time not 1 person has come in to say you should or shuldnt be doing this, that or another and I would like to think that if we were doing something wrong then some of the goose people would butt in and tell us so. So untill someone does butt in, we are all doing it our own ways depending on our bators. We all have to start at the begining and learn by our mistakes
