I will join in, but not sure how my hatch will go. Lost my first hatch due to thermostat being 5 degrees off as well as life circumstances throwing me for a loop so wasnt as careful as I should have been. Lost 7 sebbie eggs and about 8 africans.
Anyhow, fresh start with more Africans, on Day 14. Been running humidity around 35%, and temps 99.5. On day 14 tonite, candled and was surprised to see air cells WAY too big, hatching time big.
I posted and Pete was gracious enough to respond, so I have upped humidity and moved them a bit further from the light bulb in my bator. Here is hoping they are ok, I could tell if there were any heartbeats or not, but the embryos were not at one end of the egg like Petes Toulouse thread on day 13 and half, they were more spread out.
I am not that good of a candler, but I was excited to see a heart beating on one of my Welsh Harlequin duck eggs.
So I must be having the bator run at ok temps an stuff this time around.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
