    HuskerChickMom Just Hatched

I am new to this group and I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. I was wondering if anyone has tried letting a broody hen hatch fertilized eggs that were shipped. Is it possible? Do they have about the same hatch rate as an incubator? Also, are there any good places to buy them from close to Nebraska (to cut down on shipping time and handling)? I'm specifically looking for either bearded silkies or silver laced bantam polish. Thank you for any help or direction you can give me on this. My broody hens are silkies if that helps :)

I searched for a hatchery near me. I was excited to find one 45 mins away. Go to Google and search near you. I ordered more eggs and these I will pick up myself
