Oh geez....
Now I know what I did wrong with my first hatch using the egg carton method. I cut out each individual egg "cup" and set the eggs in them that way so they were all separated from each other. once the chicks started hatching, of course the egg would topple over. When the chick was out, it had a ball toppling everyone over. I was left scratching my head as to the benefits of this egg carton trick.
you don't cut them out individually. DOH. I can't believe I didn't get that part.
Does anyone with a Brinsea 20 use the egg carton? There's just not a lot of room in there....
