I didn't really think about this as a possibility, but here goes.
I had a chick jump out behind the hatching tray! I didn't use the cover because I was worried they would be too cramped in there. It simply never occurred to me that they would jump out. Of course it jumped out in the BACK of the bator, so I can't quick open & rescue the little bugger.
I don't dare open it. My humidity & temp are great. I have only 3 out of 23 hatched, another zipped & ready & a ton of pips.
Is the little jumper going to be ok back there?
