Hatching incubated eggs in cartons?

Of the 3 hatches i did i got 3 each time .... so glad i finally have a good incubator now even though i am yet to use it !!!

Get it cranked up and going!! How have you resisted not putting it on
When I got my Brinsea as soon as it was delivered I had it set up!! Could not stop myself and I had no will power what so ever

Nothing hatched, nothing even developed and they all had to chucked away. The thermostat was way off when I double checked with one I knew to be correct.
After that hatch my next ones using that were not too bad, but the incubator needed a lot of babysitting.

What incubator are you using now? I need one that is babysitter free

Brinsea octagon 20 advance EX. Auto turn and does the humidity. Super fab incubator. Is literally set and forget barring topping the water tank up under the pump.

How is your chick progressing? You dont need to do anything for 24 hours after external pip. It should have hatched by then.

My chick I think it's happy, I haven't seen any progress yet, but I think it's only been 19 hours, Im very SURE I heard very soft cheeping, Is very soft bad? Is the chick sick?? When will it hatch?

WOW, I'm going to look into this. I have a LG9300 with fan. I wanted a Genesis Hovabator but the LG was the only thing offered in my area.

They can take up to 24 hrs to hatch. As long as you are hearing cheeps it is ok. They take a big rest sometimes before zipping. I'm sure @Yorkshire coop will respond soon with way more experience and advice than I have. Hang in there and let it do its thing
