It might have been a rough night. I sure hope they are both OK and that we hear something soon![]()
Hi, been snooping for awhile. Noticed that tiny posted on another byc that his chick did hatch.

5 active, 5 still questionable and I think 5 quitters
I pulled a stinky one out and 3 others that were clear. I'm still not sure of my candling abilities so I left the 5 ?'s and 5 quitters.

thank you so much for the update. That's odd tinky didn't reply here. @Yorkshire coop
was so helpful
Thank you. OMG I had a night mare last night that I cracked one and it had a huge baby in it. That was my first stinker.Congrats on your active eggs![]()
I like to leave questionable eggs in too. Just incase!! Read lots of things where people think they are clear or quit only to crack them open and find a viable embryo in there. Stinkers have to go though!!
Good luck, eagerly anticipating your next candling![]()
X2 Yes, I learned a lot as well. THANK YOU @Yorkshire coopI agree. Yorkshire coop spent hours trying to explain and calm. But I learned a lot from it. So I will thank you all.
Thank you. OMG I had a night mare last night that I cracked one and it had a huge baby in it. That was my first stinker.WOW, it had a little oozing. I used alcohol to clean up. Is that ok or what do you recommend?
O no, I couldn't really find where it was cracked but it had some oozing. Like it happened in the turner. I didn't find a mess or any junk in the bator.Do you mean you cracked it while it was in the incubator? Or did it crack while in the incubator and oozed in there? As long as your cleaner is anti bacterial you should be good. You just have to make sure you get all the bad stuff out. Incubators can be breeding grounds for bugs![]()
