Hatching Muskovy duck eggs for the first time

Alright, thanks. We have raised ducklings before, but not from eggs. I have read through other threads and watched videos on hatching eggs, and I always see an umbilical cord attached to the chick (or duckling). What should I do about that?
You are most welcome. If they come out like mine did one had a whole egg sac attached to it. It was on a clean paper towel and I just left it alone and a few hours later and it absorbed it. All of mine that have hatched out here in my house have not had anything hanging from them other than that one. If they should though it should just dry up and drop off and as long as their is no egg left in it and if it should not drop off you can snip it with clean sissors. Just make sure there are no veins in it or egg. Then it would have to absorb it on its own. Good luck with this little one and keep us posted please.

Just leave it. It usually falls off on its own.

Alright! Today the duckling is taking up almost all of the space inside the egg and is still wiggling quite a bit. Will it hatch at a different time since it's a hinny?
Mine went over 30 days, I think it was around 32 days when my Mules hatched out. With the Muscovy in them they do take more time. I pray all goes well for this little one.

Keep an eye out for the internal pip so you will know how long it has been since it did that. My two drakes did fine coming out by themselves but the female was all full of goo and I had to fully assist. Luckily she was ready to come out with no egg sac or veins when I started peeling her out. She got a quick bath in warm water then went into the brooder and is just a huge Hen in the pen now.

I agree, knowing when it pipped internally will help, but I wouldn't recommend candling it much while it's in lockdown. This can cause problems with humidity and potentially kill the hatchling.

Today is day 27. If the egg would hatch on day 32, can I stop turning him tomorrow?
If it seems to be developed to day 27, then yes. Just look at one of those candling charts for
Muscovy ducks.
Try not to candle the egg much while it's in lockdown.
