Hatching Pea Eggs!

ColbyNTX and MinxFox, thanks for the replies. Its hard to find good information on the placement of eggs.

Colby, can you give me a P/N for the tray you are using?

I placed them small end down for years, then read about placing on the side, in the trays, improve the hatch rate, hand turn and used the auto turner also. improve those that died right b4 hatching.

Thanks to Craig Hopkin.......he gave me these pointers.

I had over 100 setting hens to set eggs under I sold them last year because I took the year off and didn't hatch anything.

That's just 1 tray in his Naturform. Click on the link for Doug's (DMFarm) and look for yourself. He has a bunch of pretty birds.

No I meant how many chicken hens does he need for all those peafowl eggs, but I do know you can get a lot of eggs from one peahen if you take the eggs.

I know right? I have been to his website and just about all the other websites with green peafowl pictures I could find and spend a lot of time drooling over them! Those scale shaped feathers and that blue and black wing is so striking, and the peacocks remind me of tough warriors.
