Hello Everyone
Thought I might share this with you. We had chickens at our old farmhouse for many years, always hatching our own eggs. We'd collect them in an egg carton (specially marked), and keep them in the fridge. When we had a dozen, we'd put them under a broody hen and 21 days later, voila! A dozen little chicks. Quite amazing, since some were refrigerated for a couple of weeks. Anyone else done this, or is it an English thing?

and Welcome To BYC! X2,check some of the Trader Joe type threads for people who have hatched eggs from grocery stores etc. A lot depends on the temperature of the fridge, think that some of the modern ones get and stay consistently colder than the older ones.
