I just found this thread today and read through all 6 pages. I expected to see pics of babies at the end. I should have read the last page first so I could deal with the disappointment and suspense.

Hurry little chickies. Hatch! Hatch! Hatch!

My first two hatches were my own and a great hatch rate like yours.. then I had my lav orps shipped in and she sent 4 xtras.. i knew that things happen in the mail.. I had 10 outta 16 hatch but 2 die after hatch... I was still happy with 8.. thats what I had said would be a great hatch in the beginning.. Well at 5 weeks old.. 8/8 are roos

not sure if I mentioned before but I did end up buying another dozen BCM eggs that went in today from bargain. Oh, they are BEAutiful!!! very nice and dark and I just can't wait to see what hatches out of those. Oh and the duck and surprise chickens I got off of chuck-duck-goose on ebay are growing away, day 14 and we've got 6 of 7 ducks and 5 chickens! one of those chick eggs is suspect though, thinking it might have quit, I'll check again on tuesday when I lock them down!

wow, that went by quickly. the ducks should hatch oct 9, just in time for my middle son's 4th bday on the 10th. he is SOOO excited, this is our first duck hatch and he thinks they are his present since they will hatch around his bday!

I told him he could name one, he was thrilled! lol

I have some of bargain's marans eggs in the bator as well, and they are very nice! I got a mix of marans and welsummers. One of the welsummer's eggs is almost as dark as the marans, very nice!

I have 12 more days under a broody --- BCM's from Prather!

I also set Bev Davis and imported lines from ebay today. They are nice and dark. As if I need more chickens ....

Oh no, not directly from her - c1 from the breeder. I wish they were hers!

I am on the waiting list though - woo hoo!!

These are all nice and dark - we'll see in a few weeks.
