Do you know what I got?

I think we are at 15, but wow they are fast when you try to count. LOL I think its easier to count unhatched eggs!! I think I did good for my first hatch, right?

Next is #15 "Dawg", my son says it sounds like a dog.

I think I know why Dawg and Peck have 5 toes, becouse they are the bonus eggs, they are Silkies. I don't like silkies, but my son and wife

Hey I don't own and pheasants I got them as a bonus from Brian you can find him at:

www.bsafflesfarm.com (I called and he called me back in less than 24hours)

I ordered a dozen Old English Game Bantams Wheaten and he did not have the eggs at the time I needed them so he sent me eight Blue Laced Red Waynnedottes and a promis to send me OEG's next year.

The pheasant eggs are dark green and almost impossible to candle. I started out with 7 in the bator 3 have shown signs of life. One pipped and stopped, #2 pipped a lot and now has stopped and the third just pipped enough to crack the shell and stopped.

Good luck
Andre'

oh i didnt catch that but thanks for the info. lots of pheasant owners here on byc but noone seems to have eggs. drives me crazy

I got two out of my test hatch. I'm really happy with the outcome, even though I lost four. At least I learned something and can now go spend some big bucks for some maran eggs or something! LOL!

To me the pheasant eggs are too difficult. They pip and just do not zip. I had two die in the shell two come out and I'm waiting on three to do something.

If you live by BR (I'm not shipping nothing, sorry) you my want to send me an email and we can trade hating eggs for hatched Pheasants so for two with maybe three, four, five).

Check out the next thread's photo.

On my hatch...still sitting at 10 Buffs and 1 cuckoo maran...the 2 that I have zipping have been doing it since yesterday at 8am...still in the same place not much breaking out, but I can see them breathing..my question is Im worried about the shell drying out....

so I have about a total of 16 eggs to still go...and this is day 22 for my hatch. Have to upload pictures.
