Me, too, in any way, shape, words or form. I've been told (I'm not even attempting to spell it, sorry) Good Health often by my Jewish friends and Bless You in Islamic by my Muslim friends.........I don't care what language it's in, it's good to know you are wished well.
You too Kristy! Have The most Blessed day you can!
Oh wait...I'm supposed to pretend to be offended still right?
Kristy! I'm offended!
Oh man you kill me
still, I can understand why some people feel offended. Some beliefs feel it is wrong to share anything religious with another religion, while others who are not religious are so inundated with other peoples beliefs they get defensive. I went through that myself but I have calmed down a lot.
Not that anyone here but wickednerd would know that.
You should ask her, I was WAY worse in high school and getting a "blessed day" would have gotten a lecture from me. i was such an uptight kid.
A person can unintentionally offend almost anyone. One of my most distinct memories from being a grocery store cashier in high school was innocently saying "Have a nice day!" to a customer who turned around and dang near took my head off, informing me that he'd have any kind of day he wanted and who was I to DEMAND that he have a nice day?! The guy was completely serious.
I'll take any well wishes I can get...and when someone says they'll "pray for me", I just hope it's not like that country song and keep an eye out for flowerpots from above.
