Ok, my mom just breaded some chicken in flower and was making chicken parmesan. I dont lke chicken parmesan so I got a few peaces out before she added the sauce. Tonight i'm just gonna throw some gravy on it and eat it

I do oven fried chicken like this. It's my favorite way to eat chicken

Basically, it's just home made shake n bake. Turn oven on to 325F. Use a 9 x 13 baking pan (or 8 x 8 depending how much chicken you have). Melt lard in the pan to about 1/4 inch deep. In plastic bag mix together flour (say 1/4 cup), paprika, pepper (1 tsp or so of each) and a bit of cayenne if you like. Shake chicken pieces to coat them (it works for any pieces but is best with the skin left on) and put in pan. Bake for about 25 minutes depending how big the pieces are.

Thank you! I just had a thought. One time my mom did something like that and instead of flower, she crumbled up goldfish and coated the chicken in it. It was soooo good!!!!!

I make a baked chicken using French's Fried onions as the coating. You smash them up by sticking in a large baggie and rolling them with a rolling pin. Coat your chicken in milk/egg then coat with the onions. I've never tried frying them like that but I think it would work. Verry yummy!

Roll it in buttermilk. Then add any spices you like to the flour and roll it in the flour. The buttermilk makes it stick and gives it an awesome flavor.

I do this and I've also crushed up tortilla chips, you can use plain or nacho or ranch, etc. Very tasty, I serve
with spanish rice.

I dip my chicken in buttermilk then roll it in flour that has salt, pepper and paperika.
Then fry it golden brown. I then put it in the oven at 350 degrees for a time.

My favorite chicken dish is this one:

1 jar apricot preserves
1 envelope onion soup
1 small bottle of Russian dressing.

Mix together and pour over the chicken. Let sit in fridge overnight or bake right away in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
Kraft used to make the best dressing for this, now I can only find Wishbone.

Another one:

1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 can of chicken with rice soup

mix together and pour over a cut up chicken in a 13x9" pan.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

Chicken parmesan is way yummy if you coat the chicken in Italian-seasoned bread crumbs instead of flour.

1. Beat a couple of eggs together in one bowl.

2. Mix Italian bread crumbs, a couple tablespoons of melted butter, and parmesan cheese together in another bowl. Stir with a fork until the breadcrumbs are slightly moist.

3. Dip the chicken in the eggs.

4. Coat the chicken with the breadcrumb mixture.

5. Bake in a glass baking dish with some olive oil and garlic at 350 degrees for 40-45 min. or until a meat thermometer tells you that it's done.

6. During the last 10 min. of cooking, put a little marinara and mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and return to the oven so that the cheese gets all melty.

7. Serve it over spaghetti with additional sauce.

You could try this with alfredo sauce or vodka sauce. It's probably yummy and would change the flavor.
