Have a real dark egg anyone have suggestions?

I am honored! I've just named my first duck and I don't even have any ducks! But then he's kinda like Scout, my chick who got frostbitten feet. He never gave up, I never gave up, and he ended up belonging to everybody! Thanks! Okay, Gilligan - keep going!

I like chickens but, I have an affinity for duck feet I don't know why. So last yr when we decided to raise chickens, I told my husband I wanted a couple ducks. In NY you have to buy your poultry from any store in sets of 6. So my husband had to buy 6 ducklings since there was no chicks available to mix at the time. They dont sell geese at TSC unless you order them.
When I moved to Tennessee and decided it was time to get the chicks, I decided to try incubating but, you know ebay everything looks good and I
bid and won more than I actually had space to incubate. So what was supposed to be my hatchery turned into my goose incubator. All of these things brand new and the heat is either wrong. or humidity or what have you. So I will try again here soon just need to get more eggs.
Ya I'm probably crazy. Lol

Gilligan is doing great today thank's for asking. He's eating drinking and pooping good. But, still a little unsteady on his feet. So tomorrow I will attempt supervised introduction to Skipper and the Professor. If it goes well will take pics

So HAPPY to hear that!! WOW those feet are dark!!! Love the names. I wanted to name my chicks after the NCIS characters, unfortunately all my favs are males, and I don't want that many males...lol
