Have any of your hens laid eggs while molting?

My hens are molting (started around October) and one of them has started to lay an egg every other day. She isn't molting like crazy, but you can tell where the new feathers are coming in. The eggs are fairly large. Has anyone else had a hen that laid an egg(s) while molting?

Sometimes mine do, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they stop laying part-way through the molt and don't pick up until two months later!

I have seen eggs from mine that are molting slowly. Any of mine that go into a hard molt tend to stop completely.

I’ve had some that molt early, lay again for a bit, and then stop until the days start to get longer, as well as some that lay sporadically during molt.

Not mine, but molt + severely shortened daylight hours will do that.
