Is your wiggler still wiggling? I bet if you were to put it in the warmer incubator it'll be ok. From what I've read, chicks that were incubated slightly cold often do hatch, but are a little late.

The wriggler is still developing well although as its so big and dark now its hard to see any movement, i have no room in the second RCom as I've squeezed 8 bantam eggs into a 3 egg incubator! Lol. Besides, they still need need turning and its nearly lockdown for the first lot now.

I have a couple of chicks from my 8/8 batch, and the remaining eggs are showing several pips. Go, chickies, go!

of the 11 that made it to lockdown, 3 pipped after lunch. Everyone is sneaking over to the bator window to see if they can catch something moving.

I keep finding myself with my ear to the incubator trying to hear any tapping or peeping, think I may have heard some tapping but its just as likely to be my imagination!

I'm seriously considering taking the eggs from my broody and putting themin the bator so I can obsess more easily and not worry about shenanigans out in the chicken coop.

Is that cruel to the broody or not a bad idea?
