Have You Lost Your Wisdom?

I have to get my wisdom pulled someday. At least that's what my orthodontist said.....but after I am done with my invisalign

Not looking forward to it. The last day of my orthodontics went like this:
Them: ‘Ok. You need an upper and lower permanent retainer, upper and lower removable retainer, a maxillary frenectomy, all 4 of your wisdom teeth removed, and…’

3 out of 4 left, and I'm not messing with them.

Got all four of them attached to me.
When I grew the first one I had bad mouth hygiene routine, so I asked to get it removed, the doctor said: we do it under LOCAL. So I freaked out and started taking better care of my mouth. I now have them all and I don’t know how I could do without them.

All four of my wisdom teeth were impacted and had to be removed. Same with both of my kids. My son's teeth were pretty much sideways Sorry kids, you inherited my teeth-braces and impacted wisdom teeth removed. Husband never had braces and didn't get his wisdom teeth removed (pulled with a simple extraction) until after we were married because they were "just a tiny bit crowded"The kids say they have forgiven me for giving them crooked teeth
Lessons learned- don't try to do anything detail oriented while under pain meds. I tried to work on a counted cross stitch picture. Was proud of myself for completing so much of it. Turned out I was over ten rows off
If it makes you feel any better about being put under, my son's oral surgeon said they put most people under because it often ends up being cheaper after the insurance pays out.

Well, leaving in about 10 minutes for my appointment.

I have homemade ice cream and pudding (all chocolate, of course, that I made yesterday), apple sauce, and refried beans. And lots of eggs from the hens (but no warm foods for first 24hrs)

I have a feeling that I’ll get bored of it quickly.

I have something that I really want to do tomorrow, but don’t know that I’ll be up for it.

The worst thing I did was come home from wisdom teeth surgery and ate some cold spaghetti noodles. Of course one of them ended up mushed and lodged in the empty socket where my wisdom tooth had been...dug it out, don't do that.
