My step dads dog killed her

Well, that is the nature of the dog. Can't blame the dog for what is natural for it to do. Of course at my place the dog would not be in a position to repeat the offense. Preventing a re-occurrence by whatever means is necessary is in my nature.

I know that's what dogs do, what makes me mad is that my step dad says its my fault. I'm not ranting about the dog, I'm ranting about my step dad otherwise I would've said "a dog killed her".

I have Speckled Sussex from Ideal. Ordered 5 pullets; got 3 pullets and 2 cockerels (which I had no trouble re-homing). I love the SS hens - friendly and chatty, and I think very pretty. One went broody and hatched shipped eggs for me this spring. The photos are from their first year; after molting they have more white, and one has lots of white. I got SS from Mt. Healthy this year. They have less white on them than the Ideal SS, but they don't seem to be as big. Very pretty, though.

"Gentleman Roo" given to CrimsonTide248 fall of last year. He was a really well-behaved rooster - was sorry to have to let him go. Two of the pullets are in the background. They were about 5 months when this was taken..
