Have you seen pellet game feed?

Found the Purina Catfish 32 today at Tractor Supply. I didn't have any regular sized pelleted feed to use as comparison, so I used my mini pellets... but I'd say it's a little bigger than your typical sized layer or all purpose poultry pellet tho. Adult Guineas should be able to handle it ok, but I won't be feeding it to my younger/smaller birds until they are 12-16 wks old.

Hopefully my birds like it (my barncats definitely do, lol). I have about 85 adult Guineas, 2 Peahens and a Wild Turkey that all got a little bit mixed in with their mini pellets tonight... We'll see how much of it they've left in the feeders by tomorrow

LOL the barncats.... those pellets look to be about a quarter inch diameter and about an eight inch thick. My Mazuri wont be here for another couple of weeks.... so I am tempted to just go down to the Tropical fish store and get a small bag there. We have a couple down here that are amazing places....

Thanks for the pics Peeps, it really helps. My adult guineas won't even eat regular size pellets, haven't found any mini pellets around here. I ended up having to grind the pellets to get them to eat them. There is so much waste with the crumbles that I really want to find something that they will eat and be nutritious for them as well. Grinding them ends up causing the same waste issue though so that really doesn't solve that issue for me.

So far I am getting mixed feedback on the catfish diet

I've gone in each pen, shook all the feeders up then watched what the birds do... some gobble it down, some flick it out of the feeders onto the floor, pffft. May skip a day of topping off feeders and see what happens

It's GOOD nutrition and cost a me lot of money, those stupid fickle birds need to eat it lol.

LOL.... they will get it.... I bought one of those Flock Blocks because I thought it was a good idea..... The squirrels love it.... I went in and dumped their water down a mouse hole that had appeared in the coop. Too funny five gallons of water down a one inch hole.....g Gone. The next day I went in and found the mouse had moved his hole UNDER the Flock block.... hee hee.

At least I am seeing them peck at it occasionally.

Still no barking Guineas as of this morning

but if my dang barncats do not stay out of the Catfish 32 they are going to end up jumping in a water trough and start bottom feeding pretty soon!

The Guineas decided the Catfish 32 isn't so bad once they have picked thru all the pellets, lol.
