It's nice that you have your property posted, but the guy is in the truck, and I'm guessing that the dogs can't read. You might need to do something a little more than putting up signs if you don't want the dogs on your property. Where I live, you can put up all the No Trespassing signs you want, but if some idiot ignores the sign, goes on your property and gets injured, you're still liable. In other words, signs alone don't mean squat. I hope you can get your rights figured out.

You need to talk to the guy face to face. It can be intimidating, but until you tell him you don't like it he will honestly have no idea. After that - call the police when ever you see his dogs on your land.

You have the right to blast them if they act aggessive toward you, your family or livestock, but honestly that is a can of worms best left unopend.

Until you tell him not to do it though - he probably had no idea that it upsets you or anyone else.

If he keeps it up after you talk to him - he is accepting responsibility for what ever you do to protect yourself.

Leash laws don't apply to hunting dogs when they are LEGALLY hunting
Reality though is nothing will stop the dogs other than a good fence​

He lives a few miles away and brings the dogs to our area, doesn't run them where he lives.

A pack of good hunting dogs will cover MANY miles in a short time​

I think that depends on the particular wording and provisions of the state or county law. If the dogs are running around on private property that does not belong to their owner without permission from the landowners, and the dog owner is merely driving around in the area, I don't think that can be construed as hunting, and certainly not as legal hunting; trespassing perhaps, if he ever gets off the roads and onto the land his dogs are running over.
