having a couple duck problems

If you have any cookie sheets and a cooling rack. It helps to put the cooling rack in the cookie sheet and then their waterer and feeder on the cooling rack. You will need to empty the cookie sheet twice a day but the bedding won’t get wet anymore.

Welcome to BYC. What are you feeding? Does it have a high enough Niacin content?

we just bought some duck pellets so hopefully this helps her and she loves her mealworms

You are welcome . The little ducklings are messy . When raising the wild ones I use a wet brooder so the mess goes down through 1/4" hardware cloth they have wood boards to walk on and a GQF heating element to stay warm . If you buy one they are expensive . It's hard to explain without a drawing but it keeps their feet from getting burnt from ammonia . I don't know if that's your problem without seeing . Good luck .
