Hi guys. Hope you’re all healthy and safe. So I’m Very new to all this but after sooo many years of wanting to start raising chickens, I’ve finally found a lot of extra time on my hands (clean hands that is)!
Anyway, I was able to get two chicks from a shop that was not quite straight with me when I called. All the chicks were several weeks old except one batch which came in 7 days ago. Now I’m picking up another two on Monday. ( I have only room for 4).
so the question is can they be put in the brooder together or should I keep them separated for at least a week till the new girls grow a bit?
Any thoughts?
thanks!!

You can try putting them together. I'd definitely keep a close eye on them the first couple of days to make sure there's no bullying issues. Be prepared to separate them if necessary, a wire mesh divider would work well.

Watching this thread, we will have chicks 2 weeks hatch apart too and I'm wondering the same thing. I got two mama hen brooders just in case.

Pending on the age, not knowing for sure I would do a see not touch for a week then they should be ok... put wire in between them in the brooder if you have the room.. let them get use to each other without contact first.
