I would keep her inside, just give her lots of water that is more important than food, besides if she is in shock, she probably wont eat much

if she is eating peas, then give her some of that

she should get better

She only ate the peas at first. She threw those up. She has stopped eating. She has bouts of energy, but looks tired and listless now.

How long should I keep her inside? She went back out to sleep with her friends, but maybe tonight I should keep her inside.

She just ate a few peas and I got her some electrolytes+vitamins+probiotics (rooster booster) to add to her bathwater and the water in their house.

Cottage cheese? If you can get to a feed store or a pet store, they sell freeze dried worms. I'm sure she will gobble those up. Very high in protein. I lost a duck to a hawk. It took at least a month for my remaining ducks to get over it and stop huddling in the bushes. It is very traumatic to them.

Gruel is a good idea, the vitamins sound great!

Poor girl. This is a rough phase, after the attack. Keep an eye on her, as I know you are doing, go with your gut.

Do you have a can of sardines in water, no salt? You could add a teaspoon of the juice to a cup of water.

So Phyllis seems to be doing well. The attack was on Saturday afternoon at 3:30pm, we kept her in the bath until 7:30pm and then put her out with her friends in their house. On Sunday, I brought Phyllis back inside to the bath and she stayed inside all day. We brought Mary and Rhoda in to visit with her for an hour or so but they are loud and obnoxious and seemed to be tiring her out, so they went back outside to hide in the bushes (the attack happened in their open-air pen, so I let them free range rather than pen them where the trauma occured). She again went out to sleep with her friends on Sunday night and I added the electrolyte/vitamin powder to their water. By Monday morning Phyllis seemed much peppier and so we let her hang out outside with her friends until 2pm when I put them all inside their house for the storm. This morning they were all outside again and I saw them even venture out from under the bushes.

I am going to continue with the powder in their water and monitor Phyllis' eating habits.
