Hawk flying low!!!

The hawk will be back. Sooner or later he will get what he is after. He s not afraid of you either. Free ranging your chickens is risky.
 
I had a cooper hawk go right over my head today... the girls knew it was there long before I saw it... They all had their heads cocked to one side and the rooster sounded a warning and everyone took cover... I didn't see it... man those chickens got eyes in the backs of their heads.
 
My little hawk came back yesterday.Flew the lowest I have ever seen just over the fence(from one side to the other) which is just shy of 6 feet.I think the hawk is testing things out. I was right by yhe run reading.They don't care.
