Exclusively. I use it in the chicken runs, chicken coops, chicken nest boxes, quail aviaries and parrot cages. I am hooked!! Easy to clean, stays cool during the summer, there is absolutely NO stink in the coop, even first thing in the morning after all the pooping. You would never know you were even IN a chicken coop. Love it!

I highly recommend you trying it. Another benefit to this sand is that on hot days, (and if you use a covered run this works best) but you can sprinkle it down with water. Just like sand at the beach, after about 30 mins, the sand gets really cool. It stays this way all day and even though the outdoor temp is in the 90's, the birds feet on the cool sand keeps them really cool. No panting from the hens on this damp sand!
