he crowed!

My boy is all grown up! Thanks to a horrible sleepless night, I was up on the porch swing listening to the world sleep then slowly wake, and I got to hear his first rusty crow! Haha I ran to the coop and gave him a hug, he flapped his wings and pecked me on the forehead, but that's ok, he crows!!!!
Perhaps I will be seeing an egg soon? They were all born February 12.

I would expect eggs somewhere in June or July. Although depending what breeds you have it could be as late as November (that would be something like a silkie).
