he died but thanks for your help everyone

kurt...without knowing what you have decided to do, I will tell you what you should be doing immediately if your bird is still living and that is to put something called ELECTROLYTES in his water and dribble that a wee bit at a time along his beak. (The first thing a stressed or sick bird does is stop drinking and this alone is enough to kill it.) If you do not know what that is and have noone to ask or help you get it immediately then see if your mom has some PEDIALYTE in the house... water that down (half pedialyte/half water) if you do. If you do not have that , do you have some GATORADE >do the same with that . Do not give cold but at room temperature.
If you do not have that then you can make your own emergency electrolyte solution:
(emergency electrolyte solution WHO):
1 cup of water
2 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp baking soda
(make fresh daily)

I have Quick Chick. Its for chicks but it has electrolytes in it. He is doing better, i managed to get some egg yolk in him and as much water as i fealt wouldn't do something i didn't know of to him. If he lives and is a special needs chicken i will be fine.

Gypsy King is doing much better. He is sitting upright (trying to, I have a question about that in a little bit) and his head is being held partially upright. He tried to eat some food I offered him but he couldn't focus/aim well enough to get it so I gave him some extra electolytes.

Now about him siting upright, for awhile he has always been sitting down and, even to eat he sat down, but I had always thought that was because the younger roosters ran him ragged. But now I see that his spurs actually hinder him from sitting down, they jut down kinda and his feet are curled whenever he sits down because his feet don't completly touch the ground. So my question is: should I file them or is there something else I can do thats better?

He is an underdog (always being the smallest and even being picked on by a Polish [go figure

]) but he is better now. If he can completly recover I would be so happy.

You can remove the spurs or file them down if they are causing problems. Do a search on spur removal and you'll find a lot of good threads on that in the forum.

Glad he's coming along for you OK - hope he continues to improve!!

OK I filed his spurs (dont tell my sister, but I used her nail filer [and disinfected it after]) but I'll have to do a better job later.
