I dont think owls would drag the carcasses deep into a bush

No, an owl would take it up into a tree, then drop what they didn't eat or couldn't hold onto on TOP of the bush.

Sounds like a coon. I have had coons break in and kill multiple birds, they usually eat the head, neck, and crop of one bird and then they get full and just eat the head or nibble on the head of the other birds. Here is hen killed by a coon-

I have owls eat chickens on the ground and sometimes in deep cover. Once in a while an owl will also make multiple kills all at once. Overall, description not consistent with owl, not is it enough to rule it out. That is why I need to see carcasses. Also, smart person will dig those carcasses back up and use them as bait.

That looks like a typical raccoon kill.

I have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do and dead carcasses usually don't work to we'll for raccoons

I have an extremely effective way I catch foxes that should work for coons

Your coons must be Canadian. The Midwestern variety will come back to carcasses first.

Owls actually can't lift most large chickens off the ground, they instead drag them to an area with cover, usually under a tree or a bush and they do this so that when daylight comes other raptors do not see the kill when they fly over, then the owl can come back and feed off of the kill the next night. They can hide a large kill and come feed off of it for weeks during the winter. Owls will kill multiple birds if they are still in the area after the first kill is made. Also, the coons around here get extremely mad when you steal their kill, if you go and find the kill and drag it along the ground and then into a live trap they will track it back down the next night and get trapped. You could also drag it out into the open and put a steak into it to hold it in the ground or tie it to a tree and then wait out there with a gun.
