There is a small place where the roof is open. My chickens love to roost up in the rafters of the chicken house.

Coons are great climbers and far stronger than they look. They are very patient predators, and love to eat heads of chooks. If you have anything other than hardware cloth around bottom of run, then a coon will reach thru and yank their heads off and eat them. If run is open, needs to be electrified as well. I did a 5-mile 4KV fence charger (Zareba brand).
