Hearing peeps!!! UPDATE: Got my second chick!!!

Okay I've never hatched chicks before so whats the difference between a pip and a peep???

Well, I just moved my little chick into the brooder. I'm still waiting on the other eggs to hatch, but I have no pips, zips, etc. I can hear them peeping, though!

Congrats on the new little one!

If another one hatches, I would leave it in there for at least 24 hours to help encourage any others. They don't need food/water for 3 days and are just fine in the bator for a while. Good luck with the rest of them.

I think I've shrink-wrapped my other chicks. When I went to check the bator a little while ago, the humidity had dropped down to 40%!!!!

Should I give them a while or just give up now?

(Today is day 23 for them.)
