Oh man so sorry that happened! I can imagine how pissed you feel!

I’ve always had a strong bound to chickens,I’m heart broken I had a little seabrigh that would come get in my leg in the morning everyday.

I have to diff brood pens and a well built house within those pens mana hen was sitting on the eggs completely unharmed thank god the do coukdnt fight thru her cage he dug under the other brood pen and was chasing my game rooster around and got a couple saddle feather but he fine other then that he can fly and perch and so the renters will com back unlike my ooor little bitties as I called em.

Fingers crossed that you soon will have new baby chicks to love and sit on your lap.

The cops came and took a report and co tatted owner of dog but they are denying it there’s dog ,guess I should have taken a picture of the dog killing my birds instead of trying to save them from it smh again thank y’all so much for the advice and support .

This is not very helpful, but at least now there is an official report that the neighbour denied the ownership.

But if you do really execute your above expressed intention to shoot the dog next time it appears on your property, there should be no complaints whatsoever from his side.

Are they saying they don't own the dog, or are they saying their dog didn't do the alleged act? If they say they don't own the dog then it seems they can't complain if something unpleasant happens to the dog, which is essentially a stray. It also seems Animal Control should be able to pick it up and handle it as a dog without an owner. If they say they DO own the dog but deny the charges, that is another matter and is best taken care of in court, but may not have satisfactory results without other witnesses.

They have denied claims to the animal (Which we knew would happen), our law enforcement has let us know they are drawing up a warrant because the people seemed to refuse cooperate with him as well. We told the authorities everything that happened, Showed the pictures I had taken of the scene. We aren’t after the people which they fail to understand & since they have denied the animal once the authorities find him they have no right to get upset. The officer has labeled him vicious & needs to be taken in & if he bites them like it did my husband than he will be put down. Thank you for all the support you have given my husband in this time of need. Taken the time out of y’all lives just to talked to really meant the world. Probably kept him from charging next door to grab the dog himself lol.
Right now we’re waiting for the authorities to call back to let us know how to pursue. We’ve secured the rest of pens & will be investing for something for entire yard to make sure this won’t happen again
