Thanks y'all. I was gonna be strong, I'm an experienced chickenkeeper at this point, but I lost it when it came time to lock them up. Bawling over a chicken.

Well, she was a beauty for sure! So sorry for your loss, but you took good care of her. I know chickens prefer to have some freedom, and that's a risk we take....I think a shorter, happier life is better than a long, boring life being penned up all the time.
