I would give it a try for an hour and see how it goes. Ducks are so unique, it is difficult to know ahead of time how they will react.

Extra electrolytes wouldn't hurt and she needs all the help she can get in recovery. You can also find electrolytes/vits for poultry at TSC. She doesn't eat reg feed just cat food?@Amiga I will definitely try that! That are super attached to each other, I guess because it's just them- he's never been by himself either... she has. I think maybe it would do both of them good. Give them both some comfort.
Also what do you & @Miss Lydia think about giving her some flavorless Pedialyte just for some extra nutrients? She seems to be drinking her water & eating her catfood great tho! I was just thinking maybe the extra couldn't hurt- only help??
Your right!!@Miss Lydia she usually eats all flock & I give them cat/dog food as a treat here & there... but right now it's the only thing she is eating... so that's what I'm giving her. As long as she is eating!
Your right!!
Something from the vet Metacam is usually what they prescribe . I am sure she is experiencing pain but hopefully it is better each day as she is healing.Question. What about pain? Does she have pain? Could I give her a very small amount of anything for pain? Idk how that works?
