Heat exhaustion...

Yes it sucks. I had heat exhaustion in high school so I try to pay close attention, but alas I wasn't paying enough attention this weekend and let myself get dehydrated and heat exhaustion again. I have been sick since Sunday. I am chugging the water and gater-aid to rehydrate and staying OUT of the heat. It has been 115 -120 with the heat index here. even just going from house to car gives me a bad headache now, so I have to drink allot and blast the air immediately...

But I did understand the OP to be having a "humorous" jest with word play.

Well for all of you out there who makes a living outdoors Please becarful.
I work in excavating and Landscaping and I have no other choice but to work under the son, I am almost used to it more than an average Joe, because I have been doing it for years, but with this late heat, I start real early and I do not work past 12 noon. projects can wait for another day. Also always remember to drink a lot of water and make sure you replace the salt in your body.

Wow, really? Though the OP was serious about being affected by the heat, they were also being tongue-in-cheek....

LIGHTEN UP FRANCIS!

Tongue-in-cheek is a phrase used as a figure of speech to imply that a statement or other production is humorously intended and it should not be taken at face value. The facial expression typically indicates that one is joking or making a mental effort.[1] In the past, it may also have indicated contempt but that is no longer common.[2] By 1842 the phrase had acquired its contemporary meaning similar to "take what I am saying with a grain of salt", indicating that a statement was not meant to be taken seriously.

THANK YOU! Thank you for understanding, at least one person, lol. Yes, please visit my other threads...I am not to be taken seriously. I keep my tongue in my cheek most of the time.

It just takes a while to get to know me and my strange humor which some people don't find all that humorous...

Nobody has a sence of humor anymore........ it's sad really, lifes so much more fun when you can laugh at yourself or make light of things!

Another symptom of heat exhaustion that is never listed in the articles about it, is feeling cold! I get this when I've been in the heat too much, I'll be absolutely freezing, almost to shivering. It is the strangest thing ever to be in 95* weather with outrageous humidity, and want to cuddle up in a blanket. The only thing I can figure is that your body temp is too high, then it's something like a fever, and you feel cold. Strange though~

I use to get heat exhaustion as a child. I remember going to the doctor for it a few times. We didn't have air growing up, my parents didn't think it was necessary living on a lake. Now I'm very sensitive to the heat and I have to stay indoors whenever it's hot and humid. I can't breathe in the very humid air.
